We are blessed to have a large number of young adults attend Bethel for our church services and many also are a part of our young adults group. This group meets once every other week to study the Bible together, discuss issues of life and faith while growing in friendship with one another. The group also is involved in service opportunities where we can impact others through practical ways by serving in such ministries as Central Station, Faith Mission, Winkler Bible Camp, Siloam Mission, etc.
We also go on a yearly mission trip to grow in our awareness of missions and to be of assistance and a blessing to others. We have had the privilege of joining up with Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) for the past two years.
This program is geared for people that are in the post high school to thirty age group. As with all of our ministries we have at Bethel, our scope of people that get involved goes way beyond those that attend here for a Sunday morning service and this is evident at our Thrive gatherings as many who attend do not necessarily worship here on a regular basis. All young adults are welcome. Our Associate Pastor, Mark Sawatzky is directly involved and responsible for the young adults ministries of Bethel.
Please feel free to contact Mark with any comments or questions you may have and check out the church calendar for our upcoming young adult activities and Bible studies. We look forward to having you join us!
